Lev Gorn is a Russian-born photographer, a fine artist, an award-winning filmmaker and professional film and television actor. Lev’s photography has been exhibited in NYC, his films have played at film festivals throughout the world, including the prestigious Hamptons Film Festival. As an actor, he has worked with Robert DeNiro, Matt Damon, Ted Danson, Bebe Neuwirth, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Schwartzman and many others.
His creative journey and life-long artistic pursuit has given him the insight to transform your spontaneous reality, the truth and love of your private family moments, into Fine Art. Lev lives for the unguarded moment when a glimpse of your inner magic is captured in his camera.

During that first meeting with Lev, together, you will explore your goals and artistic vision - you may want large size vibrant color family portraits, soulful black & whites or sepia, a conceptual photo collage, gallery quality plexi-glass mounting, traditional darkroom prints or a multi-image installation. Lev will show you samples of all these options.
He can also help you choose the right wardrobe so that the final images have a stronger impact; the simplicity of a black dress or a T-shirt with blue jeans can look timeless in a B&W photo, while a family on the beach, at sunset, in reds, blues and pinks, radiates with joy and celebration.
Together, you will decide on locations that have meaning for your family - a favorite beach, Central Park, your home, a stable, a certain NYC street, or perhaps Lev’s studio.
You may have an idea for an image that you would like to see on a particular wall in your home - one family wanted a vibrant 40x60 color plexi-glass floating photo of their daughters running through ocean waves. Another wanted to recreate different time periods in history and hang the images side by side. There are no limits. The framing and mounting specifications of the final images can be worked out before the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, Lev creates an ease and comfort with your family, making you feel free, natural, spontaneous and uninhibited, and depending on the size of your clan, a shoot can go from 2-6 hrs. Lev is flexible with his time - he loves being a photographer.
